WHY WE BUILT LAVA

Data centers have become the engine of the modern economy.

But the tools used to manage and secure them were built two decades ago.

Infrastructure now spans more layers, vendors, and control surfaces than ever.

But the work remains fragmented, manual, and leaves blind spots across the stack.

AI made this problem impossible to ignore. As infrastructure becomes more valuable,

more complex, and more exposed, the old operating model starts to break.

We built to give teams control across every layer of the data center - helping them manage, secure, and remediate the infrastructure their business depends on.

CTO

Former Director of Research at Aqua, with prior service in Israeli Intelligence at the Prime Minister's Office. His cloud-native security research has been presented at Black Hat, RSAC, and DEF CON.

Eyal Soreff

Head of Product

Led core security products at Palo Alto Networks, Talon, and Microsoft, shipping enterprise-grade platforms that uncover shadow IT and stop malware and data loss.

Michael Katchinskiy

Head of Security Research

Former Senior Security Researcher at Microsoft and core researcher on Aqua's Team Nautilus, specializing in runtime threat detection for containers, Kubernetes, and AI infrastructure. His research has been presented at Black Hat, DEF CON, and KubeCon.
